Dave had his rotator cuff surgery today. All went well, it was an out patient procedure. He had a nerve block in his shoulder that was going to keep his whole arm numb for 24 hours.
Unfortunately it only lasted 7 hours. After suffering through 3-4 hours of relentless pain and some serious medication, that wasn't working. We are back at the hospital! He has been given some iv meds and is now feeling more comfortable.
They are going to re-do the nerve block and keep him monitored over night!
We'll see how tomorrow goes.
